Formal Garden

The Garden had great bones but needed a lift. The basic geometry was in place but by adding elements to the garden such as the pea gravel edge accent, charcoal screens and am additional sitting area within the grass quad the garden was enlivened and its life stye use expanded. It was a stone pathway was added within the lower grass quad to link the house to the rear garden backdrop and enhance the the scene of depth and unify materials. Yews and boxwood were added to unify the planting through the this shade garden where colour is limited and accentuate the sense of green.
