As a high park garden, it demanded to be more tied to nature, hence the emergence of a rustic look particularly accentuated through the use of rough cut flagstones. It also required to be carefully constructed around endangered Black Oak trees. Due to topography the garden had to step down towards the house. Original entry was moved to the centre to help better define it and the winding path further accentuated the entry from the street. The existing entry porch was modified on one side, stepping down to a smaller outdoor garden. As an empty leftover area it became an intimate lounge space for the residents to enjoy.
